10Good Sharpening Station Set Features

POINT 01

A whetstone that is easy to use even for beginners

The 10Good series whetstones have been improved in hardness to provide a soft feel that is suitable for sharpening knives.
In addition, previous whetstones were sized to fit planes and were somewhat narrow in width, but the whetstones in this series are wider and designed to be easy to use for sharpening knives as well.

POINT 02

Lowering the hurdles for sharpening

1. Understand the angle at which to hold the knife
You can use the instructions to check the angle at which to place the knife on the whetstone.
2. Use the guide to check the sharpening angle at any time
Use the included template as a guide to ensure you always sharpen at the same angle.
3. Know the sharpening direction
By paying attention to the guide and the dot grid on the whetstone, you can check the sharpening angle and direction while sharpening.

POINT 03

Enjoy sharpening your knives the moment you receive it

The sharpening set includes not only the whetstone needed for sharpening knives, but also a stand to stabilize the whetstone and tools for maintaining the knives and whetstone, so you can start sharpening your knives with confidence the moment it arrives.
Also, the sharpening box and sharpening stand allow you to sharpen anywhere you like, not just in the sink.

POINT 04

Size and design that makes sharpening a habit

If you keep it in a place where you can easily take it out, you can sharpen it easily.
The compact size of the sharpening set makes it easy to keep within reach, and its simple design makes it suitable for any kitchen.

POINT 05

A sharpening stand that improves stability

One of the secrets to mastering sharpening is stability.
The sharpening stand, which has a pleasant hinoki scent, is designed to fit the box and provides stability when sharpening.
Even beginners can sharpen it with confidence.

POINT 06

Accessories to keep the blade in a good sharpening condition

The sharpening set comes with a rust removal rubber and a surface repair file.
With the "rust remover rubber," you can prepare rusty knives for sharpening.
A "surface leveling file" is used to smooth out whetstones that have been worn down during sharpening. This keeps the whetstone in good condition after sharpening.
These accessories help keep your tools sharp.

Instructions: "How to sharpen a knife"

Before sharpening

  • Using the template included in the whetstone packaging, draw a diagonal line (a guide for the knife angle) on the whetstone with a pen or similar.
  • Fill a low-pressure box with water and soak the whetstone for about 30 minutes.
  • Set up the sharpening stand and whetstone. Place the whetstone near the front.

Care Instructions

  • Use a "surface straightening file" to keep the whetstone surface straight and store it to prevent it from becoming dented.
  • If you use your knife frequently, it will lose its sharpness within a month. We recommend sharpening it once every two months.

Regarding product quality

  • Discoloration (uneven color) may occur in some areas due to uneven mixing or imbalance of additives during the process of mixing the binder and abrasive, which are the raw materials for the grinding wheel.
  • Please note that some parts, such as the edges of the whetstone, may be blackened, but this occurs during the manufacturing process and is not a product defect.
  • There may be scuff marks in some places, but please note that this is due to the manufacturing process and does not indicate a product defect.
