[Features]
KAMA-ASA's original knife for children made in Seki city, Gifu. We have created this knife to encourage children enjoy cooking and to help learn how to take good care of tools by using this knife. The blade material is using V1 stainless steel, which has good balance for its lasting of sharpness and easiness to sharpen. The blade edge is sharpened evenly and can be used by both right-handed and left-handed person.
The sharp edge would smoothly cut the ingredients and children can enjoy real cooking.
The size of blade is made slightly smaller than usual Santoku knife to make it easy to handle for children. Considering child safety, the tip and heel of blade are rounded.
The small handle is easy to grip by children's hands. Unlike usual knives for children, this knife can be sharpened and regain its sharpness again. The blade would gradually wear out by sharpening and can be used as a utility knife in future. This knife is also a good choice for adults searching for small sized multi-purpose knife too.

Most of the chipping can be repaired by re-sharpening the blade. We offer a fee-based knife sharpening service. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask us using the inquiry form. Blades can chip by cutting hard ingredients such as bones, seeds or frozen food, dropping and mishandling, or stabbing into hard cutting boards.
