Himeno-saku. Hand-made aluminum claw pan
Product Features
A pot loved by professionals
A Yatsuko Nabe is a pot without a handle. The lack of a handle means that you can cook with the pot on the stove without it getting in the way when you use multiple pots at once.
Another feature is that since they have no handles, they can be stacked and stored in a stacked manner.
Like the Yukihira pot, it can be used for a wide range of purposes, such as boiling, making soup stock, and stewing.
By Himeno.
Himenosaku is a long-established pot workshop founded in 1924.
The third generation pot craftsman, Himeno Toshikazu, is one of only a few pot hand-forgers in Japan.
Each product is hand-made with the hope of creating a product that will last a lifetime for its user.
Two special features of Himeno's handmade aluminum claw pot
Hammered marks created by hammering
Aluminum is naturally a soft material, but by hammering it and compacting the metal particles, it becomes hard and strong.
The hammered marks created by the hammering process increase the surface area of the pot, improving thermal conductivity and allowing heat to be transferred more evenly to the ingredients.
Thick 3mm aluminum
Pots made by hammering 3mm thick aluminum sheets are not only beautiful and durable, but also have a wide surface that distributes heat evenly and makes them less likely to burn.
