Overview
Basic one-handled pot
Gyohira pot is a basic one-handed pot. It can be used not only for daily soups, boiled dishes, and soup stock, but also for sauces and stews because it is non-stick.
You can choose the position of the spout depending on the size.
If you hold the pot with your left hand and cook with your right hand, the right spout is easier to use; if you hold the pot with your right hand and cook with your left hand, the left spout is easier to use.

Mr. Juichi Himeno, the third generation here, is one of only a few hand-hammered pot makers in Japan.
The pots and pans are made one by one by hand with the wish of "products that will last a lifetime with the user.

High thermal conductivity unique to copper
Copper has the highest thermal conductivity as a material for pots and pans.
It is characterized by its ability to quickly and evenly transfer heat, making it difficult for uneven temperatures to occur. It can cook over low heat in a short time.
Another appeal of copper pots and pans is their beautiful appearance.


1.5mm thickness
The 1.5 mm thick material has excellent heat storage properties, and heat is transmitted softly, making it non-stick.

Precautions

Copper product cannot be used on an induction stove.

If the product is left wet, it may develop a greenish-blue color. However, the green tint is harmless and can be used as is.

Do not burn the pot empty as it will deform or damage the pot.

Copper products may turn black regardless of the period of use.

There may be scratches or marks that occur during production.

It is not a storage container, so please transfer to another container after cooking.

The tin plating on the surface may peel off. There is no problem if you use it as it is, but if you are concerned about it, we can re-tin it. Please contact the store directly if you wish to have it re-tinned.

Please read the enclosed instruction manual before use.
Before using for the first time
- If you add rice water and heat it over low heat for 20 to 30 minutes, a film will be formed and discoloration will be reduced.
(It is effective if you do this regularly, about once a month.)
Care Instructions
- After use, wash with detergent and sponge.
- If you are concerned about blackheads, fill the water to nearly full and add something acidic (such as thin slices of lemon or vinegar) and boil it over low heat for 20-30 minutes to remove some of the blackheads.
