Point1 The main body dimensions have been changed to a more generous size: height 82cm → 96cm, width 75cm → 82cm.

Original Apron for Sharpeners
Not only does it protect clothing from water splashes while sharpening knives, but it also removes burrs after sharpening. Made primarily from Okayama Prefecture's specialty denim fabric in Kamaasa Shoten's signature black color, this is an apron designed for knife sharpeners.

Through iori products' three product lines—"Wear," "Foot Wear," and "Uniform"—we achieved a design that embodies Kamaasa Shoten's signature simplicity while incorporating various functionalities. These uniforms are also used by Kamaasa Shoten staff.

Built to withstand knife sharpening
The final step in knife sharpening involves removing burrs from the blade edge using newspaper or thick denim—a process called "burr removal.
" Inspired by the idea of using denim for this burr removal, we added a separate denim panel to the right thigh area of the apron.
This not only protects against splashes and stains while sharpening but also allows for efficient burr removal during the finishing process.

Black denim fabric not only looks stylish, but also fades with wear like vintage jeans, growing more cherished the more you use it—just like KAMA-ASA's fine tools.
