King Whetstone 10Good #6000
Product Features
A whetstone that is easy to use for beginners
The 10Good series whetstones have been improved in hardness to provide a soft feel that is suitable for sharpening knives.
In addition, previous whetstones were sized to fit planes and were somewhat narrow in width, but the whetstones in this series are wider and designed to be easy to use for sharpening knives as well.
Uses of finishing stones
Finishing whetstones are used to make the blade sharper or to make the edge of the blade shiny.
For stainless steel knives, the sharpness can be restored using only a medium whetstone, but using a finishing whetstone tends to make the sharpness last longer.
