Cherry wood that can be used for a long time

These wooden tools are made from cherry wood and carefully crafted by craftsmen.
The soft wood feels great in your hand. The more you use cherry wood, the deeper the color and the more glossy it becomes, allowing you to use it for many years.
It is a highly absorbent material, so if you soak it thoroughly in water before using it, rice will not stick to it easily.
Another feature is that natural wood is less likely to scratch pots and pans than stainless steel ones.

Founded in 1890, we are a wooden kitchenware manufacturer in Miyajima, Hiroshima Prefecture.
We select wood that suits the intended use, and manufacture products that are easy to use in ordinary home kitchens and can be used for a long time.
Each piece is carefully made by hand by a craftsman.
Miyajima ladles are a traditional craft from Miyajima, Hiroshima Prefecture, which is also renowned as a World Heritage Site.
